Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the time of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her amateur debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd then went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first minutes. After that Ladd went on to WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia is superior to Aspen who beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's amateur record was marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability took down McGill, and she was able finish her fight in the third round through TKO (elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen took on Hoy and defeated her after the second round with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last event for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, taking on Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to win by TKO in the second-round. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize to commemorate her performance of the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she was able to take on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
